cordless phones

Hello All,

since we've built an extension on the side of our old house, I cant find a
'sweet spot' for the base station to allow all the hand sets (5) to work.

I know we could get a second set/base station, but its better sometimes if
you can walk around the house and keep reception/call.

I'm assuming that in the old part the walls are too thick and in the new
build the foil covered insulation doesn't help, also seems to block mobile
phone signal!

Anyway, does anyone know of a booster/repeater available for cordless
handsets, or even one that has a stronger range
