Glad to help :-)

Midden, a much underused word - but one of my favourites for describing my
inbox!

Cheers

Hi Jon,

Actually that makes a lot of sense. I suspect my garden, by virtue of
being at the bottom of a hill, was something of a builders midden and I
am finding the evidence. The hose is pretty long and strong, just not
all that flexible. Though maybe they'd be a bit more bendy in warmer
weather.

compressed
air hose used by a jackhammer which may have been used for breaking up some
old concrete pad. Ground workers at my place left one behind. I keep
thinking it will be useful for running cat5 cable to the garage ... one
day!
