Thanks for the reply Dave,

Well of course the iPad uses those damn silly USB to 30 Pin Apple
connectors but I would have thought for something like this the ideal would
be to use two "Type B" sockets for power and data in (then you
can use standard cables) and a single USB "Type A" socket out to
to the iPad which you would plug the normal Apple USB cable into, no?

Oh and wasn't it you that was into your engine management systems a few
years ago? I'm currently thinking of replacing the standard ECU on the TVR
with something a bit more flexible. ;-)
