That's an IPv6 link-local (automagically configured and valid only on
the LAN) address.
If you didn't know this already, chances are you don't want to be using
IPv6 and finding some way to disable it would probably solve your
connectivity problems (partially configured IPv6 networking tending to
lead to all sorts of weird intermittent timeout behaviour).
Alternatively, Swot up on IPv6, get yourself some v6 connectivity, and
be ready for the future :)
