Electric curtains again

Hi,

I'm wanting to add some electric curtains and I did try Eeziglide (their
ch=
eap one, the lunar, from http://www.automaticblindsdirect.co.uk/).
It works=
, it is a little bulky on the motor end and possibly a little too noisy
for=
my liking given I'll end up with 4 of them in one room (they drive steel w=
ire, not a belt). Otherwise, pretty good value for money.

I'm after advice/feedback on what ones are good, any experiences etc.. I
ne=
ed 4 tracks, 2-2.5m wide, around 1.5-2.5m drop. I noticed the earlier
threa=
d http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ukha_d/message/21612
but not all questions =
were answered.

The current ones in the running are (from random searching):

1. http://www.home-control.co.uk/products/product_info.php?cPath=3D67&produ=
cts_id=3D234&osCsid=3D20443c92fd237e5700df114b7729d337 - it has a solar
opt=
ion (not investigated yet) which would mean no plasterwork required -
defin=
itely a bonus. But also could be connected to home automation (with some
pl=
asterwork 'adjustment')

2. silent gliss 5090IR. Some comment before that they were a little noisy?
=
I'm also concerned they might not have enough oomph. But am attracted by
th=
e delivered cut to length.

3. The Eeziglide Mars. http://www.automaticblindsdirect.co.uk/automatic-cur=
tain-marsdc.php Belt driven so hopefully quieter - and no lack of oomph
if=
the cheaper one is anything to go by.

>From this you'll see I'm comfortable(ish) around the =A3300-400 mark
for ea=
ch set.

Any advice/comments would be welcome,

Thanks,
Bruce.
