You can enable telnet/ssh and then, VERY* carefully edit /etc/X11/
xorg.conf and change the lines that read

Option  "BlankTime"     "0"
Option  "StandbyTime"   "0"
Option  "SuspendTime"   "0"
Option  "OffTime"       "0"

to something more suitable. I'm using

Option  "OffTime"       "5"

which turns power to the monitor off after 5 minutes. Touch the screen
to wake it up again

*If you screw up your xorg.conf your joggler wont boot properly,
although it is a recoverable situation
