Re: Re: c-bus and hot water/boiler control

Just to kick you some more.... me sits here clicking my C-Bus lights
on
and off and watching my boiler and hot water temperatures via my Joggler
;-) .

Yes..... I have a xAP touchscreen app up and running on them now . It
runs on a stock Joggler (with Telnet/SSH enabled) but in it's current
form it's specific to my system and being a Flash application it's not
too easy to offer as a more generic version. I might revisit that later
but at the moment I'm still playing and discovering how graphically
challenged I am. I've also been looking for a while for a true 'push'
photoframe so that the callers picture can be popped up when an incoming
tel call arrives (good WAF) - and the Joggler can do this via xAP.

I too didn't buy enough Jogglers and have had to pay above that £50
price for some, but I'm replete now. The other OpenPeak devices look
really nice too - particularly the ProFrame 7 and the portable handsets
.I hope they make it to the UK maybe via O2 or at least become available
somehow at a reasonable price.

I still haven't sorted my heating system. The system I chose 10 years
ago hasn't proved as controllable as I was led to believe. I don't
have accessible modulation or flow temperature control and might have to
resort to brute force on/off demand . This is a shame as the system is
quite clever when it manages itself but can only work with one
thermostat input, despite the fancy 2 wire 'Batibus' it uses. I
know... the clue was in the name ;-)
