RE: Mobile Phone - Solar Charging

We cheat! Get an electric hook-up and then you can run everything you
want,
including a kettle (so much quicker than waiting for the old gas kettle to
boil) and laptop (some sites even have WiFi!) and a few lights for the
evening :)

Before that, I used to take a spare car battery and hook lights up from it
and also would run a charger in the car when out for the day for phones and
camera batteries.

Subject: [ukha_d] Mobile Phone - Solar Charging

Off for two weeks camping in the summer - can anyone recommend a solar
mobile phone charger? Google of course throws up several options at a range
of prices, but I was looking for any real world experiences of such things.
I defintely need to charge an iPhone, but I suspect the family might like
their Blackberry, Nokia and Samsung charged too....

Cheers
Mark
