OT: Freeview and Sky channels changing around

Hi all,

I've just moved into a new house and after my bad experience with sky at my
last address decided to go down the freeview route.

After setting up the freeview box I couldn't get ITV, which meant SWMBO
missed Corrie and Emmerdale and my ear drums suffered. However, the
previous owners left a satelitte dish installed at the property so as a
temporary measure I thought I would connect the satelittle to the old sky
box to see what it could receive (I'm in that period where I'm paying sky
still because it takes 30 days to close the account). Strangely this
couldn't receive ITV either.

Yesterday I arrive home to find that ITV can now be received by both the
freeview box and the sky box, but that BBC is now missing from both.

Any ideas as to what is going on here? Ultimate aim is to get the freeview
box working, so do I need to get the ariel checked out? I'm scratching my
head in confusion now.

Thanks,

Brad
