Apple has done a clever thing with the iPad - they have introduced a more
netbook style device but closed the door on open distribution of apps. All
apps will be sold via iTunes like the iPhone which means the developers
have no choice but to give up a big percentage to Apple. How long before
you need to buy Photoshop for your Mac via iTunes?

Once they get a bit of momentum and because the thing looks good it will be
hard to stop them.

I'm keeping clear out of principal... hurry up with those Windows 7 slates
or perhaps the new Android ones?
