Two options:

Buy an extension cable (available on ebay) and simply splice with CAT5
patch
cables for a neat option.  (NOTE: wires on the cable are INCREDIBLY thin so
takes some careful soldering)

Or just buy one of these:

Eats batteries so rechargeable are essential but works perfectly.
