I did that on MY laptop within a month of getting it. I had 100 blue
screens
in 30 days under Vista and none since moving to XP Pro. My machine does
still have a vista partition but I think I have only booted to it about 4
times in the last year. That Vista partition will shortly be replaced by
Windows 7 ;)

Am probably going to rebuild the other laptop with Win 7 very shortly.
