Re: LED Kitchen strips



I bought the white LED Ikea ones for this use, but they aren't bright
enough
to be useful. Fine if you want some low level light to 'see your way at
night' but useless for any cooking. They look good as plinth level 'floor
washers' or on back of TV (as a cheap Philips Ambilight) though.

For under cabinets, I went for these http://bit.ly/aZXJop from screwfix -
they are halogen capsule bulbs so run hot & not that energy efficient.
I do
see Screwfix do "Sylvania Silver Circular Downlight Cabinet Lights
Pack of
3" which use energy efficient 6W bulbs now as well....maybe an
alternative.
