I'm just rejigging our controls and here's what I'm doing.

Three zones, so three two-port zone valves controlled by a Danfoss
TP5000 programmable thermostat on each floor. I have wires in place,
but there is a wireless version and Danfoss do the RX1/2/3 receivers.
I'm then going to use a Danfoss TS715 to control the hot water.

It's all going to wired into two Drayton LWC1 wiring centres just to
keep it tidy as there are 11 cables coming together (power, 4xstat,
4xvalve, timer, boiler)

I did consider PC control, but those programmable thermostats are very
smart, let you set temp profiles and automatically advance/retard based
on temperature delta.

As it happen, I haven't ordered anything yet, so if anyone has any
better suggestions ...
