Should be possible, in theory :-)

Maybe you need to run the second router in "client" mode? (so the
first
router thinks the second is just another wireless device)
IIRC some routers treat "bridge" as a dedicated link between the
two devices
and don't then allow further clients. Some modes are also specific to
operation between the same same/similar makes/models.

Can you get wires to an adjacent room and drill through the wall?
