I have both a Sky+ and a Humax PVR9300T (like a Sky+ but for
Freeview), I gather Humax also do a Freesat version, which should allow you
to have the Sky+ functionality without the subscription (and channels)

I also used a wireless transmitter to transmit to other sets and also
control the box from the remote location

Guess again...... the "+" functionality requires a subscription
to $ky

Once again the evil Murdock empire has people by the sort and curlies. Even
though it is a Sky+ box it will behave just like a plain old vanilla Sky
box
