Heatmiser - (hopefully) simple questions

Hi there,

I hope you are all keeping well. It has been many years since I took part
in this mail list so I apologise for, yet more, newbie questions.

I am currently planning a renovation of my house and hence this affords me
the luxury of new cabling. I am planning on installing a comfort and c-bus
combination but I am a little less clear on heating controls. We are
planning on installing cast iron radiators so this limits my choice of
remotely controlled valves given many appear to be available in only white
plastic.

As such I have been considering a heatmiser system but I am left with two
questions that I cannot find answers for:

- The documentation implies a netmonitor is cabled from a touch-panel. Is
the touch-panel an absolute requirement?
- Are standard valves required alongside the in-line wax valves?
- (for luck) Has anyone installed the wax valves underneath floorboards?
Can anyone envision significant issues with this approach?

Thanks to you all for any feedback you can provide.

kieran
