I don't think the 'normal' way of playing blu-ray, ie original disc in
player, works very well yet (compared to DVD)
My Sony player, takes minutes to boot, then it does some other stuff with
some discs (upgrade some firmware in player?), by the time the menu appears
to play the movie, I could have literally made some real pop corn!
