Hey,
I got one of the first intel mini's and have upgraded it a few times.
Yes nice thin & fine putty knifes are your friends, that and a steel
ruler.
Its tricky to get it started and not mar the case but very doable, just
takes time.
Loads of video guides out there watch a few and then decide if you want to
risk splitting the case down its side.
