Future TV experience
Got a project at work to build a future TV experience / demo,
showcasing superfast broadband, 3D TV, HD TV, social TV, and a load of
other stuff. Been given a large budget.
I have the TV already but currently looking at best solution for a set top
box. It needs to look like an STB but I'm planning on using a multimedia
PC. The question is which one? Needs to be HD-TV capable including Freeview
reception/recording. Needs to have 1080p output, huge hard disk for content
and very fast for the gaming elements.
What should I buy please?
Software will all be custom written to tie it all together. Can you get
Freeview h/w + s/w that would be controllable within HTML or Flash
wrappers?
Also what other hardware should I use? What are the best looking wireless
keyboard, remotes, etc?
