Re: Keene IR - Compatible with Xantech ?

I have tried a Keene receiver before with a Xantech distribution
block, the Keene receiver went bang!!
It maybe have bee a polarity issue, or just plain user error :-)

Subject: [ukha_d] Keene IR - Compatible with Xantech ?

I spoke to someone at keene - it was a painful experience.

They do a plasma friendly IR unit here -
http://www.keene.
co.uk/electronic s/multi.php? mycode=IRPMR - and I'd like
to know if this is compatible with a Xantech hub.

The Keene IR hub appears to be 12v , and so is the Xantech. As long as it
has signal, ground and 12v I'd be sorted ? Tis a good price for a plasma
friendly IR receiver.
