RE: distribution and remote control of multiple sky boxes
Nick,
I use a SPC4 to help control my co-located HD and SKY+ boxes.
As the blurb says, the only disadvantage is that once a remote has been
programmed to operate with one of the digiboxes connected to the system, it
won't operate any of the other digiboxes on the system.
Works fine so far.
regards

Subject: [ukha_d] distribution and remote control of multiple sky boxes
Anybody know about these things?
http://www.letsautomate.com/12438.cfm
I'm having my sky upgraded to HD and going multi-room this week. Toying
with the idea of leaving the (non hd) sky+ box in the same room. But would
need separate control. Ideally tvlink units in some rooms would control the
hd box, other rooms would control the sky+ box and some rooms (with a
pronto) would do either.
How does the SPC4 unit tie remotes to boxes?
I can only feed the terrestrial aerial input to one sky box - presumably
it's present on the Rf out of the SPC4?
Thanks
Nick
