Cable Stapler

Hi,
This sounds like an absurd question... but I am looking for an inexpensive
cable stapler. I have 2 already, and they are both dreadful. I am looking
for something to pin 4.5mm alarm cable to shirting/door jambs without it
drawing attention. Sadly, I need to do it because I didn't install as many
cables when we did the first-fix, and so have had to post-fit a couple of
things since then.
What do people have/use - and have I just been unlucky?
