I have to say - i thought the same: the plugs look like they couldn't
handle as much as the little round 5 amp lighting plugs you used to get in
the UK, never mind 10A.

You do this for a living, so I'll bow to greater experience - just to say
that I'm quite happy to have something over-engineered when it comes to the
mains supply!

One thing I really do like though is the little RCDs in every extension
strip - I would like to see that in UK power strips, rather than them being
fused.
