That is way too expensive. Check out Round Solutions in the UK. Much better
prices. You can download the prices in PDF format.



I don't work for these guys but I have used them before and they are
excellent service.

The ETM9300 dual band GSM/GPRS modem is capable of transmitting data,
short messages (SMS), and fax messages via the GSM/GPRS mobile
network. Based on the Siemens MC39i module, it utilizes the GSM/GPRS
network for convenient and inexpensive data transfer from remote
instruments, meters, computers or control systems.

ETM9300 GSM/GPRS Terminal
3db magnetic D Band Antenna
12V power supply
2m RS232 data cable
Crestron or AMX control system module (upon request)

When used with AMX or Crestron Control systems, the ETM9300 can:
Send and receive SMS Text messages from connected Touchpanels
Send status SMS Text messages, for example, when a projector's lamp
hours have reached a maximum value or for a home owner/staff member
requesting help on a AV/IT issue.
Receive SMS Text messages to set an event or scenario. For example,
turn on lighting outside when arriving home or set the air
conditioning to temperature before arriving.
Limited only to your imagination.

Additional hardware manufactured by Control Gadgets can be utilized
for control of CBus, Dynalite, DMX or nearly anything controllable via
RS232 upon request.
