RE: OT: I need a copy of Exchange 2003...

If it's for your own use, why not buy either a TechNet or an action
pack su=
bscription... Each only costs something in the order of about =A3200-ish,
a=
nd includes pretty much all the MS software you could ever want.

PS, there *IS* a fully functional 32-bit version of Exchange 2007, - it
jus=
t isn't supported for production use. However, apart from the obvious
memor=
y support differences between them, the 32-bit eval version is
functionally=
identical to the real thing. (Not sure if it has a time limit on it though=
...)

Just a thought...

Subject: [ukha_d] OT: I need a copy of Exchange 2003...

Chaps,

For reasons too stupid to explain, I need to buy another MS Exchange Server
Standard 2003.
Trouble is MS don't sell it any more. I'd buy 2007, but it doesn't run on
32bit CPU's and doesn't seem to offer a downgrade option from what I can
see.

Anyone know where I can purchase it, obviously without paying =A31,000 for
=
an
old retail box? Which is all I can see on Google/Ebay.
Or have I missed something in the CPU/downgrade nonsense?

Your thoughts/suggestion are most welcome.
Lee
