Ethernet over mains

Hi all,

I need to get ethernet to a pc in my dining room, only 20 feet from my
wireless router but my usb wireless adapter refuses to get any decent
speeds and constantly goes up & down in speed. Problem is I don't have
any way of running cables under the flooring so have to resort to something
like ethernet over mains adapters. Are they any good?
