Re: Access / Inspection cover

Plastic boxes with moisture ingress glands and click on lids are
available =
from suppliers of electrical gear, eg City Electrical. Fine for your use
i=
f you dont mind digging 'em up. I would gun a bit of silicone sealant
insid=
e to reinforce the seal.
They are cheap ;-)))

Subject: [ukha_d] Access / Inspection cover

Evening all,

Anyone recommend a supplier / solution for a access cover at a sensible p=
rice? I have laid some conduit for Cat5 external grade cable and in a
coupl=
e of places put in junctions which I will need access to in the future.
The=
conduit is buried about 18" deep in soil covered with grass so the
cover d=
oesn't need to take any weight.

I've looked at B&Q, Wickes and Screwfix for drainage covers but they
star=
t at =A330 which seems way too expensive for what I need.

Paul
