Hi Lee,

There are a fair few people here who use Comfort (as I do). It's primarily
a very competent alarm system but with many HA functions too.

Personally, I use it mainly as an alarm but link it direct to HomeVision
which is an even more powerful HA controller. The link is via permanent
RS232 connection so HomeVision can use the sensor and alarm status from
Comfort and enables bi-directional reporting and control.

Others here use Comfort fully as an HA controller very successfully, but
for me, it didn't give me everything I wanted, hence HomeVision.
