Rackmount NAS Recommendations

  • Subject: Rackmount NAS Recommendations

Hi All,

Seeking opinions on Rackmount NAS devices. Don't need more than 2TB.

Are Buffalo still considered value for money?
*http://tinyurl.com/dk4fag*<http://tinyurl.com/dk4fag>=3D 2TB
for =A3577.

This is going to be a backup for the existing NAS, so doesn't need to be
cutting edge. Raid 5 will be used (so the above would be ~1.5TB usable).

Anyone have any better (cheaper ;)) suggestions?

Build-it-yourself isn't an option this time - my client wants an off the
shelf model with warranty etc.

Thanks all.

Rob
