RE: Tivo Replacement.
Yes, I've replaced my Sky/TiVo combination with the Humax Freesat PVR.
There are some irritations, primarily around the UI in that it's a little
counterintuitive in places and it's a little slower than TiVo. Also, for
some bizarre reason, you can't delete a recording while there's another
recording being made (it evidently physically removes the data from the
disc
which is an IO intensive operation, rather than just marking it as
deleted).
However, those relatively minor niggles aside, I think it's very good. I've
been using it since it first hit the streets at the beginning of December
with very few issues.
