Fw: Energy saving - switching off plasma TV

Check the manual. My old Panny plasma states 0.6w on standby - you
could
reuse that X10 appliance better elsewhere perhaps

Hello,

Just got a plasma in the living room (Panasonic) 50" as part of the
compensation of loosing my home cinema room - recently married, SWMBO
thought that the largest bedroom in the house shouldn't be a cinema :)

Ny old X-10 appliance plug-ins have a new lease of life in the house
as a way of switching off 6-way multi-adaptors to save the standby
power. I would like to do this with the plasma.

The manual warns that some of the config settings default when you
switch off. Is there anything else I should be wary of?

Thanks very much

Richard
