HDD Choices

I need a larger (PATA) drive in my laptop, and two 3.5" SATA
drives for bac=
kups.

The 2.5" 160 Gb Samsung HM160HC Spinpoint M80 from Scan seems
excellent value at =A339 incl vat - and Samsung generally has a good
reputation, don't they?

Equally the 1TB Samsung HD103UI EcoGreen F1 DT drives look good for
backups and at =A367 also seems good value. But why are the Hitachi
drives nearly a tenner cheaper?

Any reason not to buy the above, or confirmation that they're ok would
be appreciated.
