Thanks.

I'm aware tag&rename will create playlists (I've used it for this) but
I don't think it will create playlists in directories which it creates,
such as /music/artist/album/Artist-Album.m3u, while leaving the mp3 files
in the /music/ directory?

Anyone know if I'm wrong?  I'd love to use T&R as it's the program I
get on best with for mp3s....
