Hi Stephen,

That is what I was beginning to worry. Bugger. I could try to connect it
via
a serial port (or, rather, to a USB port with a serial adaptor) but I guess
I'll have to buy another cable for this damn machine. Already bought the
scanner, the cable, a usb adaptor and a power supply! That'll teach me to
buy such items off eBay.

I don't mind spending more if I can get it to work, but even if I can get
it
sending data via RS232, how can I decode it and use it in an application?
The app I am using it in is browser-based which is why a keyboard-based
system was great.

Probably best just binning it and buying a hand-held scanner that I know
works (we have one already that is fine).
