Lightbulbs again...

Just had another email through from the company I ordered the
lightbulbs
from a couple of weeks ago.



"In common with most other suppliers, despite promises from various
manufacturers, the 100W GLS BC lamps have not yet turned up. To give you an
idea of what we are up against, since the press got hold of this story to
phase them out, Crompton inform us that they sold out in one day of 2 years
normal production. We are confident these will be delivered to us
eventually, but there will be a longer delay on them than anticipated. We
will send out your order as soon as we get them, unless you wish to cancel,
in which case please reply to this email. (We have also had to put the
price
of them up - this is not profiteering on our part - we are now having to
pay
more for them. However if you have already ordered, we will keep to the old
price.)"

The power of the press huh?
