We have a xAP application that  interfaces to an iPod Touchscreen
application, with custom designable button screens (free for two
screens) - so that when you press buttons on the iPod it will control ,
and show in realtime the state of xAP devices - couple that with a xAP
script engine and you've got your solution - any interest ?

I use this to control my C-Bus lighting via the iTouch/iPhone
