Fw: Speaker switch - IR controlled?

Anything wrong with using a cheapo Maplin IR SCART switcher or similar
?

Most have phono inputs - couldnt they switch the speakers ?

Has anyone come across a good value speaker switch with IR control? My
Brother needs something like that to switch Sky/Radio/CD etc from an Amp
and Sky HD box to a couple of ceiling speakers. Needs to be IR controlled
so a Harmony remote can control it all. He already has speaker volume
controls.

I did see a Xantech box that does this but maybe a little too expensive
and difficult to get hold of?

Paul.
