Subject: [ukha_d] Interfacing to an Aqualisa digital shower

I've bought a Aqualisa digital pumped shower
(http://www.tradingdepot.co.uk/DEF/product/!!QZ.A2.EV.05)
for my
ensuite bathroom. It's not fitted yet but I was wondering whether
there was a way to have the extractor fan automatically come on when
the shower is started.

My previous plan was to strap a cylinder stat to the hot feed so the
fan is started as the pipe warms up. This is fine but I expect I'd get
a fair amount of fan overrun as the pipe would only cool down slowly.
I don't want to consider flow switches as these reduce the power from
the shower.
Is it possible to interface directly to the Aqualisa pump box? Nothing
is mentioned in the installation manual :-(

Thanks,

Tim.
