We had 6-8 inches of snow in Leeds, and even treated roads were covered in
show with a layer of ice underneath. And I managed to cycle to work every
day and another chap here cycled in 25 miles from York.
Then we had to answer the 'phones as whining car drivers called claiming
they couldn't make it! Sheesh!
