Subject: [ukha_d] NAS power consumption - or self-build NAS

It's time I sorted out my at-home storage, some sort of NAS makes sense.

BUT, as this will be on 24/7 a big concern for me is power consumption,

still trying to keep our base-load really low.

Does anyone have any figures for what some of the consumer-level NAS
devices

pull?

I know I can build a mini-itx with HD consuming around 20-30w -- but if a

commercial unit will pull less then I might go that way instead.

Thanks,

Jon
