[OT] Disk recovery after stupid action

  • Subject: [OT] Disk recovery after stupid action

I know it's been discussed before but wondered if there was a good
program for the following.

Had problems with my Vista install on an HP laptop and couldn't get the
windows recovery to run
So stupidly did a reinstall of Vista which has now given me a nice clean
laptop but no data. Hindsight is wonderful! but is there anyway I can
recover anything on the disk.
Apart from the install I haven't done anything else :( (It didn't even
seem to do a reformat)

Any help gratefully appreciated.

David
