RE: 100 watt light bulbs

There's a "gentleman's agreement" with the big chains that
they will
withdraw those horrible old inefficient incandescent bulbs from general
sal=
e
and they'll only sell the much more pleasant and environmentally friendly
low-energy bulbs instead ... this is in advance of them being withdrawn
fro=
m
sale generally at a later date.

Subject: [ukha_d] 100 watt light bulbs

I thought the incandescent 100 watt light bulb had gone for good, but
visiting Weston-super-Mare I found a couple of small shops still
selling them. Price is around 25p per bulb.

For anyone still wanting these perhaps now is the time to check your
nearby small electrical & discount shops in case they are doing the
same.

FYI, the shop "What!" (yes, it really is called that) in
Winterstoke
Road, W-s-M is having a closing down sale (last day this Saturday) and
has around 200 bulbs for sale in packs of 4 bulbs for =A31.

Nick.
