Re: Fw: CBUS Control over iPhone

It does work - tried and tested with an RS232 PCI and an MSS100 - and
I
have MSS100's still if people are in need ;-) the developer is
promising a future C-Gate attached version too.

Has three hierachies Type >> Area >> Device eg
Lighting>>Kitchen>>Table Spots and can control any
group/application..
It's pretty responsive and seems to handle WiFi network dropouts well.
The three screens on the website / app store pretty much illustrate the
functional interface ..ie no icons , popup screens graphics etc. (If
you crave the latter use Command Fusions iViewer instead - along with a
C-Bus/xAP gateway) . It has quite a nice feature allowing it to
recognise the last group chnaged and add it - so you just add a new
device in the interface - press a button on C-Bus and you're done.

BTW it needs to have a default attached network numbered 254 and wont
work over any network bridges eg wireless (there is a network field but
it's not editable currently). As bridged groups don't advise changes
over bridges, network synching is far more complex and so I'm guessing
they are going to suggest using the upcoming C-Gate version if you have
multiple networks. C-Gate does complex and extensive background polling
that is designed to be inobtrusive to ensure synch.
