RE: Recording phone calls

Inductive pickup on the back of the handset to an mp3 player with a
mic in
would be the easiest.

For something automated and able to be left unattended I think you are out
of luck for anything cheap. There are some products that do it but they are
really expensive. Otherwise there are USB devices that record to a computer
but you have ruled that out.

If you can change to a voip provider, lots (well that I have used) offer
call recording as an option, the one I use (2talk.co.nz, so no use if you
want a UK number) lets meaccess recordings via a web interface or have them
emailed to me as an mp3 file. I think one of my prior US telcos offered the
same.

Subject: [ukha_d] Recording phone calls

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a simple way of recording phone calls on a standard BT
phone line. Not bothered if a little box is required and would prefer to
not
use a PC, etc. No tapes obviously.

TIA
