I use a 25A SSR (Solid State Relay) which is silent. Since they are
used in=
industrial plant you can get them in many sizes. 3kW is about 13A, so a 25=
A one has plenty of headroom. The control voltage varies by model but is

ually a wide spec - I control the SSR from an xAP Netiom at 12V. Don't

et to independently protect the AC supply.

New from RS they're about =A320 but I see on *bay there are some at =A36
