VPN and proxy server

Hi,

I'm going to set up a VPN between a LAN in Spain and another home here in
Wales. I've got Draytek routers at both places and and there is loads of
info on the net on what I need to do so fairly confident that I can get it
to work OK.



I want to access things like BBCiplayer and TVCatchup when in Spain so I
thought proxy server.  I know that I could buy into a service, but it would
be nice to do it on the cheap so would it be possible to setup a proxy
server on my LAN in Wales? If so is there any software that is recommended,
and any pointers as to setup instructions would be great -J



Or maybe there is a better way of doing it?
