Re: Swapping alarm panels



Do just check whether your sensors are wired using two wires (with
series/EOL resistors) or 4 wires , where a pair is the tamper circuit -
and that the replacement panel can handle the same.   In the former case
it's possible you might have to adjust the values of the resistors if
the panel expects something different. In the latter case you could add
resistors to make the sensors compatible with a two wire panel.
