Thanks for responding - I have no idea about the IR response rate. To show
my ignorance, how do I check for this and change it? What would the correct
level be..?



I imagine that it is something to do with the software as the same
compilation of commands has been installed on both the now troubled units.

I know this is not of much help to you, but I use the 9600 with Sky HD
with no problems.

One thought, what duration have you got for the IR signal?

Hi all.

A client of ours has a Pronto TSU9600 but has complained of slow
response times when connecting to the Sky+ HD and Windows Media Centre
(I do not know about access to other media hardware).

We have reprogrammed both of his 9600's but the time between pressing
the button on either remote and e.g. the changing the channel, is very
slow.

I don't think it's the hardware as the Sky remote control works
instantly over the same IR-Smarte-Sky+ route (and he has two Prontos).
Also, the codes programmed on the Pronto for WMC and Sky+HD are hard
coded and not learnt.

Any ideas where I should be looking first..?
