My building inspector has agreed to let me put all my C-Bus light switches
at whatever height I want (a lot of DLT's so I want to be able to read
them)
provided the first switch inside the front door is at the 1200mm level and
I
can show that the whole system can be controlled by remote control. I
haven't fitted them yet but suffice to say I'm going to get it in writing
before I start putting them in !

Hi all,

Can anyone give me some advice on what the maximum height an in wall
touch panel can be on a new build. I've been told by a builder that the
top of the control panel or switch cannot be higher than 1200mm from
finished floor level to comply with Part M of the bulding regulations.

TIA
Darren
